Abstract Submission
The 13th Annual Meeting of the ASEAN Society for Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy (ASSA), in conjunction with the 5th Congress and the 13th Annual Meeting of the Indonesian Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy (IOSSMA), themed “Capturing the Future in Sports Injury Through Collaborative Innovation,” will be held in Bali, Indonesia, from August 26th to 30th, 2025.
The submitted studies may range from case reports to original research articles and should cover either basic science or clinical aspects of orthopedic sports surgery or sports medicine. Abstract submission opens on February 1st, 2025. Please follow the submission guidelines outlined below.
Announcement of Accepted Abstract
The list of accepted abstracts will be announced on June 16th, 2025. The presenting author will be notified via email; however, co-authors will not receive a confirmation email.
Accepted abstracts will be published as supplementary materials in the Orthopaedic Journal of Sports Medicine. If the author does not consent to publication, please inform the organizing committee in advance.
Format of Presentation
Accepted abstracts will be presented in one of the following formats:
- E-Poster
- Oral Presentation
Preparation of Abstracts
Language
- The abstract must be written and presented in English.
- Careful proofreading is essential, as errors in spelling, grammar, punctuation, and formatting
- cannot be corrected after submission.
Word Limit
- The abstract must not exceed 350 words.
Title
- The title should clearly define the topic of the study.
- Do not include the name of your institution in the title.
Authors
- Authors’ names should be written in the following format: First Name Last Name.
Abstract Structure
The abstract should be structured as follows:

– Methods
– Results
– Conclusions

The deadline for abstract submission is June 2nd, 2025 Has been Extended until June 11th, 2025
